Affinity Program Opt-Out

The services offered through affinity partners such as Alumni Holidays (AHI), GEICO and GradMed provide financial support for UCSF alumni programs.  Opt-out of receiving communications from all affinity programs by contacting Alumni Services at 415-476-4723 or and providing your name and alumni ID number.

Your ID number is located on your Alumni Association membership card. You can also find it next to your name on the address portion of mailings from Alumni Services. 

 

UCSF Alumni Email Account

The free UCSF Email Forwarding service, yourname@alumni.ucsf.edu, can be used to forward email to any of your personal email accounts.

Upgrade your UCSF email to a fully functioning web-based email account for just $14.99 a year.

Sign up for your free UCSF Email Forwarding account, by logging into the Online Alumni Community, and then click "Alumni E-mail" in the left navigation.

UC Libraries

Obtain free library privileges by presenting your current alumni membership card to the library's circulation desk at the main library on the Parnassus campus to receive a complimentary library card (some restriction may apply). Your membership card provides you access to the other UC campus libraries. The check-out policies vary from campus to campus. Call the Circulation Desk at (415) 476-2334 for more information about the UCSF Library.

ProQuest Digital Research Library

ProQuest is a free digital collection of several thousand journals, magazines and newspapers. You’ll find links to resources, full text of hundreds of health science related titles, information on services for licensed healthcare practitioners, and links to CE/CME resources. ProQuest is available to UCSF alumni and may only be accessed from this network. For access, log into the Online Alumni Community, and click "Library" in the left navigation. 

 

UC Extension Courses

UCSF Alumni Association members receive a discount on extension courses at all UC campuses (except UCSF, which has no extension program). As is true for all UC Alumni Association members, UCSF members can participate in the discount program at any of the UC campuses. Discounts vary from campus to campus and you will need to show your UCSF alumni membership card to receive the alumni discount. Mentoring Opportunities

Make a difference for a future colleague in just 15 minutes a week - be a MentorNet e-mentor. MentorNet seeks faculty as mentors for graduate students, postdoctoral scholars, or untenured tenure-track faculty members from around the world. As part of MentorNet's award-winning one-on-one E-mentoring programs, women and underrepresented minorities pursuing faculty careers are matched with mentors for 8-month mentoring relationships conducted via email. Bakar Fitness & Recreation Center

Join the UCSF Bakar Fitness Center at Mission Bay. UCSF Alumni receive a special membership rate. Premier memberships include group fitness classes and parking, and as an additional benefit to UCSF Alumni members, there is no wait to join for a full access membership. Millberry Fitness & Recreation Center

The Millberry Fitness & Recreation Center is located on the Parnassus campus at UCSF. This multi-purpose fitness center offers programs and services to the UCSF Community. Built in 1926 as a fraternity house for dentistry students, the Faculty/Alumni House is a rental facility used for classes, meetings, receptions and parties.
